RANDOM URINALYSIS TESTING:
Provided as a means to monitor abstinence. The frequency of
testing is dependent on client’s phase in treatment, drug use
pattern and relapse history. Frequency can be dictated by
referring agency and other entities.
12-STEP MEETINGS AND SPONSORSHIP:
All clients are required to meet the minimum 12-Step meeting
attendance requirement as outlined in their treatment plan. All
clients are required to obtain and have a working relationship
with a 12-Step sponsor as well as establish ties with members of
the NA or AA fellowship.
By the time a client is ready to complete treatment it is
anticipated that they will be applying essential skills
necessary to maintain a drug-free lifestyle. They will be able
to demonstrate comprehension of the recovery concepts of the
12-Step recovery model and will begin to utilize a 12-Step
program as a key component in their recovery process. Other
evidence of one’s readiness for completion includes:
●
The
client has recognized the severity of their chemical use
●
The
client has an understanding of their self-defeating
relationship with chemicals as well as vulnerabilities
which could lead to relapse
●
The
client has developed a relapse prevention plan
●
The
client has met all goals identified in the
individualized treatment plan
●
A
realistic and sound plan for continuing care and ongoing
recovery is established
●
Dually
diagnosed clients will gain an increased awareness of
the ways in which the use of mood-altering drugs,
including alcohol, magnify their psychiatric diagnosis
Once a client
has completed the program, they are strongly encouraged to
become an active member of I-ADARP, Inc’s alumni. A
weekly Relapse Prevention group is offered at no cost and
graduates are encouraged to attend and participate. Should
the alumni desire individual, couples, or family counseling,
arrangements can be made for a reasonable fee or appropriate
referrals provided.

On Demand Testing
DCFS
I-ADARP Inc. serves as a collection site for clients who are under
the auspices of DCFS. Clients who are participating in this program
must call DCFS each day to determine if they are required to go to
I-ADARP for testing. When they are called for testing they come to
the clinic and are required to provide a urine sample which is
forwarded to a DCFS contracted lab. Test results are sent directly
to DCFS. I-ADARP Inc. does not receive the results reports of
clients participating in this program.
Custom For
clients who want to provide on demand testing for themselves or for
others, I-ADARP, Inc. will set up a program depending upon the
frequency of tests requested. A drug technician will randomly
contact identified participants and inform them of the need to
test. Collected samples will be forwarded to a lab and the test
results will be provided as directed.
